MP Studio is seeking to hire a full time Landscape Designer/Landscape Architect position. The selected candidate will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of landscape architects, planners, and others to provide design and production support on a wide variety of public and private landscape architectural projects. Project emphasis includes park, recreation, trail planning/design, urban park, plaza and streetscape, transportation enhancements, land development, and large-scale planning projects.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in an interdisciplinary environment to help clients plan, design, and implement projects.

Requirements:

Licensed Landscape Architect
-
Full professional proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch-Up, Construction Management Platforms (i.e. ProCore, ProjectWise, Kahua), Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office.

Ability to storyboard, assemble, complete, and QA/QC SD, DD, and CD level packages.
-
Ability to travel periodically, primarily in the state, to support project needs.
-

Responsibilities
-
Attend to lead and motivate production teams.

Coordinate and meet with clients and sub-consultants.

Attend public meetings and community outreach meetings.

Play a significant role in the marketing and business development of the office.

Led technical documentation and managed diverse projects, including multi-family and single-family, master planning, hospitality/resort, and public/urban spaces.

Conduct thorough reviews and quality checks of construction documents to verify accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
-
Proficient with the preparation of construction documents, including grading, drainage, hardscape, lighting, irrigation, planning, construction estimates and bid documents.

Entry Level
0-5 Years
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree and/or higher in Landscape Architecture
-
Demonstrated experience preparing site analysis and conceptual design graphics/exhibits.

Demonstrated experience preparing construction documents
-
Well organized, detail oriented, and highly motivated
-
Strong design, graphic, and writing skills
-
Demonstrated experience with industry software applications (AutoCAD, Land F/X, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator, Microsoft Office and Lumion)

Ability to travel periodically primarily in state to support project needs.

Responsibilities

Landscape Architectural and planning project support.

Work directly with Landscape Architect/ Project managers.

Participated in and led site inventory and analysis.

Assist with project research and data compilation for the design process.

Produce conceptual site planning and graphics (hand & digital), schematic/preliminary design plans and graphics, design development and construction document plans and details.

Produce accurate cost estimates.

Assist with technical specifications in preparation for bid documents.

Produce landscape compliance document for land development projects.

Produce maps in support of planning projects.
-
Produce graphic renderings for the design and planning process of a project.

Ability to meet deadlines, respond to project delivery & work effectively.
